No rhyme nor reason to this week's Sampler selection. Just some sticks we thought you ought to try.
ARTURO FUENTE DOUBLE CHATEAU FUENTE MADURO (Dominican Republic)
A beautiful dark chocolate wrapper covers a blend of Dominican fillers. Enjoy sweet cocoa, tropical spices and a hint of nutmeg from this medium-bodied cigar. Primo Strength Rating: 6
A.J. FERNANDEZ BELLA ARTES TORO (Nicaragua)
The wrapper on this stick is quite unique as it is a hybrid....three strains of tobaccos. Inside are a complex blend of multi-national fillers carefully chosen for a mix of cinnamon, pepper, cream and zesty citrus. Mild to medium in body. Primo Strength Rating: 4
AVO DOMAINE 30 (Dominican Republic)
Here we have a blend of all Dominican leaves girded in a dark, oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. A medium-bodied smoke exuding notes of earth, vanilla and nougat. Primo Strength Rating: 5
MONTECRISTO EPIC CRAFT CURED BELICOSO (Nicaragua)
This Beli is handcrafted by the famous Plasencia family. Medium to full in body with palate teasing essences of nuts, bittersweet chocolate and toasty coffee. Primo Strength Rating: 8
A $59 value for $44
CIGAR TIP OF THE WEEK: Another tidbit from a past Sampler, but a good one to remember. Lots of cigar connoisseurs like to enjoy a good bourbon, cognac or scotch with their smoke. And how many times have we seen someone dipping the end of their cigar in their libation?!? Don't do this. All it does is make your cigar's butt soggy and muddies up your drink. Puff. Sip. Puff. Sip. Enjoy both the cigar and the drink the way they were meant to be enjoyed.
